General Motors To Re-Enter Medium Duty Truck Segment

According to our sources, The General is currently hard at work on an all-new medium duty truck line that will emerge roughly two to four years from now.

If you recall, GM pulled out of the medium duty segment with the cancellation of the Chevrolet Kodiak and GMC TopKick back in July 2009, when the automaker was undergoing bankruptcy proceedings. Since then, there have been whispers of The General re-entering the medium-duty game with something along the lines of a proposed Silverado/Sierra 4500HD model.
